Staying in a cottage in Wells for a week, this is my favourite pub here.
The beer is very good, the staff are friendly & the food is exceptional for a pub.
I live in a tourist village in West Yorkshire (Brontë country) & appreciate the balance between tourists & locals. The Globe has it spot on.
I highly recommend this pub for food, drink & atmosphere.

It’s a lovely pub with rooms and nice outdoor seating area plus accommodation above the pub and in the courtyard across from it.
Nicely furnished rooms. Good food choices on the menu. Dog friendly. Welcoming and friendly staff. 10 minutes walk to the sea front in Wells.
Only negative is that they do not have a customer car park. It’s on road parking where you can find it. We went in March and it was pretty busy so dread to think how difficult it would be to find a space in the summer. Would definitely return though.

Popped in for a drink during a short holiday break. Friendly service and some comfy chairs for the quiet book readers like myself. Hope to be back sometime to try the food.

Just had 5 nights here in one on their courtyard rooms. Fantastic place. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Breakfast choice was varied and really tasty and filling. V clean room and premises,
and so dog friendly! A great base location in Wells to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coast!

Spring finally arrived and after an idyllic 2 hour walk on the beach, we headed for a late (80th birthday) lunch at The Globe. Warm welcome, service friendly and quick. Lots of choice on the menu, but fish, chips and mushy peas was obvious and it didn't disappoint. Batter and chips were crisp, the fish obviously fresh and delicious. Desert, apple and pear crumble, was just as good; hot, sweet and lightly spiced, just as it should be. All at a really affordable price. Best birthday lunch in a long time.
The Globe was buzzing and rightly so. It's well worth a visit.

Wonderful stay at the Globe - wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return! Super dog-friendly, comfortable and spacious rooms, connected to a cosy and welcoming pubs and brilliant food. Loved it! Thanks everyone at the Globe!

Lovely pub great atmosphere and the food was fantastic I had the roast beef my female companion had the belly pork we both couldn't fault the service or the food. Next time we are this way we are definitely come in. A big thanks

only nipped in for a nibble but instantly we wanted to stay for longer the staff were so welcoming and kind, not to mention the young man who served me at the bar he was very well mannered and approachable we had little to no wait definitely recommend!

A lovely stay, with great room and friendly staff. Parking is around the green outside and we struggled to find a space. Food wasn't as expected, I think we should have stayed away from a Sunday roast at 7pm as meat and roasties were a little dry and 'old', however we loved the experience and will explore a few more of the group

Very enjoyable stay with my partner. Lovely room, good food and service. In addition, Wells is a very nice place to visit and we will be coming back again and if we require accommodation we would come back to The Globe.

Great location with attentive, friendly and professional staff. Room lovely however a tot of noise from 0630 which was a little disappointing.

The food was excellent. My wife had the coq au vin which she said was delicious. I had the chicken and leek pie which I loved, especially was it was a "proper" pie with pastry all round. The service was excellent and the place itself is warm and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.

Comfortable pub/Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Evening restaurant meals are of average quality, except for the fish & chips which is exceptional.
Beautiful part of North Norfolk. Lovely boutique shopping close by. 12-15 easy walk to sea-front.
